Handbrake Episode 4 is up on the youtubes!

In this episode we talk about Weismann coming to Australia, lament Honda dropping production of the S2000; talk about the new Mazda 3; Chris Bangle leaves BMW; hacked roadsigns; the updated Porsche GT3 and the new Citroen DS concept.

Good morning folks, we have Episode 3 ready. It has been ready for a while, but a combination of technical difficulties (for example this episode plays fine on a Mac, but be damned if I can get it to work on my PC) and a trial with uploading to Google Video to get a result...has failed. Seems google video only likes 640x480 resolution, and when you try and fit our widescreen offerings into that, it seems to get a little upset. In the meantime, I've uploaded the whole Episode, so you can download it for the time being, and I'll do a upload to youtube at a later point. Enjoy!

The mp3 link is up now for the Audio only version, so hopefully this translates through to iTunes. Cross fingers.

Again, sorry for both the delay and the numerous chapters. We'd rather have one long episode than 5 segments, but we can only do so much at the moment.

No Episode?

29Jan09

You perhaps might be wondering where this fabled Episode 3 is, and when it'll be forthcoming. Due to the slightly insane weather we're having here, and aircon at home not working (due to rolling power outages) it becomes a little difficult to do any work. This Saturday the edit will be completed, and compiled and uploaded. That I promise.

Peace

Episode 3…

22Jan09

Hey guys, You may've noticed our usual Wednesday release date has slipped by...that's because we didn't film a new episode over the weekend because of Detroit!

We'll be covering what we thought of the Detroit Motorshow in our upcoming episode, we're still sifting through everything. There's been quite a bit to get through.

This one's for the audio folks out there. You can subscribe to the audio only streams by clicking on the iTunes logo on the right hand side.

Enjoy!

Episode 2 is now up on the youtubes. Apologies for the delay, the file sizes are larger, I've upped the quality, and it had to be split into 4 parts. An mp3 version will be up soon for those of you subscribing through iTunes.

Episode 2

Welcome to Episode 2 of Handbrake! I've had a few problems uploading to the youtubes, but today I bring a special treat - a higher quality version for those of you that have iPhones or iPod touches, or want to watch the video on their PC without having to string together 4 youtube videos. I've hosted a complete file of the episode for you all to start downloading!

This episode is much better than the previous one, a lot more cohesive and seems to flow better. Comments and suggestions always welcome at handbrake (d0t) tv (at) gmail (dot) com.

Hello everyone, it's here! I've had to split the video into 3 segments, due to a 10min time limit with the youtubes. We cover in this episode our personal highlights from 2008, cover a brief rundown of what 2009 may have in store. We turn local and look at Holden's new hatch concept, and what this means for the Australian small car market. Then we discuss why we don't like the new Seat Exeo.

All in all, enjoy!
